The Hop Skip & Jump
Foundation
(Formerly Seven Springs) Flexible, Immediate & Sustained Day Care for Children with Special Needs
It is with the deepest regret that Hop Skip & Jump South West has learnt that its trustee Andrew Young has died.
He was dedicated to the work of this centre and through his diligence and leadership helped a great many people, a lot of whom he would not even have met.
During his eight years of leadership, he was unstinting in giving his time as well as persuading people to support the work in any possible way.
He will be greatly missed and we cannot thank his family enough for all that he gave to the parents and children of the centre at Grimsbury Park.
His Funeral will take place at Lord Mayors Chapel, College Green in Bristol at 14.45pm on Friday 3rd February.

The Foundation’s aim is simple: to give a special welcome to the families of children with special needs and provide unique, supervised and vital day care and respite with support for parents and carers in a carefree environment where there are no sneers or stares.
The Foundation’s Hop Skip & Jump centres provide play and support for children with a disability, life threatening illness, or any special need. They also offer vital day care respite for the children, their families and carers. Hop Skip & Jump give these special children the opportunity to build confidence, social skills and self esteem whilst providing parents, cares and siblings a place to have a well earned break.
The Foundation thanks the Earl St. Aldwyn for an amazing 15 years as Patron and friendship. All who use the centres and indeed work there have an enormous appreciation of his generosity and time. He would turn his hand to anything from enormous fundraising dinners in London, to being Father Christmas at the centres with our President Elizabeth Hurley as his elf.
We are very delighted to announce that Diana Rockefeller has agreed to join Sir Robert Clark as Patron. She is not only a loyal long term friend of the Charity but is also involved with amazing NGO work with Afghan women and Children amongst many other things.’
